Opening Baker:  

Marini Farm is looking to hire a positive, flexible, and hardworking morning person who has
some experience working in bakery or is motivated to learn. The ideal candidate is self-
motivated, reliable, comfortable working in a commercial kitchen, using ovens, and can follow

prep lists and tasks, while being adaptable to changes.

Morning 6:00am-1:00pm
Hours: full/part time 20-40


Main duties:

  • Opening the bakery/kitchen following an opening checklist and running ovens

  • Set up kitchen for the day, including maintaining the sinks/sanitation needs

  • Follows established recipes with a strong attention to detail

  • Mixing, baking, and packaging

  • Mixing, frying, and sugaring donuts using a Belshaw Mark 5 donut machine

  • Baking crisps, pies, cobblers, muffins, and any other items as determined by production lists

  • Maintaining an organized and clean work space to a high standard

  • Collaborating with other kitchen and retail staff

  • Ensuring retail baked goods display is stocked, clearly identified, and visually enticing
